IT’S TIME SING!! 2025 LIP SYNC FUNDRAISER DATE ANNOUNCEMENT

Mark your calendars and get ready for an unforgettable event! The Kevin Babington Foundation is excited to announce the date and location for the 2025 LIP SYNC Fundraiser. This spectacular event is a cornerstone for the Foundation, laying the groundwork for our fundraising efforts throughout the year and reuniting with the sport/community in fun and different ways.

• Estimated Start Time: 6 PM
• Location: Eye Candy Farm

After a successful 2024 Lip Sync event dubbed “A Night in Hollywood,” the Kevin Babington Foundation went back to the drawing board and asked, “How can we make this an even better event while still keeping with our mission?” The answer was simple, focus on the incredible equestrian talent and bring in a NEW and WORLD-RENOWNED caterer, Ken Rose.

“We believe the Kevin Babington Foundation Lip Sync Fundraiser is one of the signature events of the Wellington winter season,” says Chairman Jeff Papows. “The event has grown each year, enhancing the overall experience. Last year’s Lip Sync was a huge success, except for the food, we plan to elevate with a different and world-renowned caterer, Ken Rose. More importantly, we want to build on the growing #RideForKevin movement. We are also incredibly grateful to return to Eye Candy Farm, generously provided by Erica Hatfield.”

Ken Rose, owner of Ken Rose Catering, has been planning and producing top-tier events in South Florida for over 31 years. With a focus on exquisite cuisine and creating an unforgettable atmosphere, Ken is the perfect addition to elevate this event to the next level.

Ken Rose will be handling an exquisite array of Hors D’oeuvres and Libations. 

The format will be very similar to the 2024 event. The evening will be hosted at Eye Candy Farm and will give people the opportunity to sign up, choose their favorite song, dress up and sing their hearts out on a custom-built light stage.

“I had the opportunity to dress up and sing “Texas Hold ‘Em” by Beyonce in last year’s Lip Sync event,” says International Rider Tiffany Foster. “To get to dress up was fun but to get up there and sing as if I were Beyonce was truly on another level. I encourage as many people as possible to take this opportunity, get out of your comfort zone, choose your favorite song and help raise money for this incredible cause.”

We will be sending out additional announcements over the next several weeks regarding performance sign-ups, ticket sales, the fundraiser theme, and much more.

Fall Update from the Kevin Babington Foundation

The leaves are changing, the weather is cooling, and the Kevin Babington Foundation is entering an exciting new season with some incredible responsibilities. We feel a sense of optimism every day, thanks to the love and support our sport has shown. This enthusiasm points to vital announcements and great events coming up this winter.

“After the success we’ve had this year, we are preparing for an even bigger winter season,” says Chairman Jeff Papows. “With the achievements we’ve seen in our Babington Benefit Classes—featuring nine participating horse shows—we are developing even more opportunities for horse shows and exhibitors to join the #RideForKevin movement. Stay tuned for updates in the coming months!”

The Kevin Babington Foundation will also be announcing the winter schedule, including dates for the MIDA Farm Babington Benefit Classic and the 2025 Mystery Lip Sync Fundraiser.

As we approach this year’s Silver Oak Jumper Tournament, we’re excited to announce a very special award to mark a very special occasion:

The inaugural #RideForKevin Belt Buckle.

This exquisite piece of art was designed and crafted by Lisa Banga Graham, owner of The Draft Horse Connection in central Illinois and a longtime friend of KBF board member Victoria McCullough.

In collaboration with Jeff Papows, Lisa created this remarkable award, a stunning memento that will make up just one small part of commemorating what promises to be the most memorable Babington Benefit Class to date!
