FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Wellington, FL – Oct. 2, 2026
The Kevin Babington Foundation is announcing an important date change for Kevin’s Rockstars Lip Sync & Fundraiser 2027.
Originally scheduled for March 7, Kevin’s Rockstars will now take place on:
Sunday, February 28, 2027
Eyecandyland | Wellington, FL
Gates Open at 6:30 PM
The change was made after learning that the Show Jumping Hall of Fame Induction Gala is also scheduled for Sunday, March 7.
The Kevin Babington Foundation has enjoyed a longstanding relationship with the Show Jumping Hall of Fame and has tremendous respect for the organization, its mission, and its role in celebrating the people and horses who have shaped the sport of show jumping.
Rather than ask members of the equestrian community to choose between two important events, the Foundation felt moving Kevin’s Rockstars was the right and courteous decision.
“The equestrian community is at its best when we support one another,” said Jeff Papows, Chairman of the Kevin Babington Foundation. “We have great respect for the Show Jumping Hall of Fame and the important work it does to preserve and celebrate the history of our sport. Moving Kevin’s Rockstars allows our community to fully support both events, and we are very happy to do that.”
The relationship between the two organizations is especially meaningful to the Foundation. In 2026, the Show Jumping Hall of Fame presented Kevin Babington with its International Award during its annual Induction Gala, further strengthening the connection between the Hall of Fame, Kevin, and the broader equestrian community.
With the new date confirmed, preparations are already underway for the fifth edition of Kevin’s Rockstars.
Over the past four years, the event has grown into one of Wellington’s most anticipated evenings of music, entertainment, laughter, and philanthropy. The 2026 edition welcomed more than 500 guests and 12 acts to Eyecandyland, all coming together in support of show jumping athletes and families whose lives have been changed by spinal injury.
