About Kevin Babington Foundation:

In late August 2019, Kevin experienced a life-altering moment when he suffered a complete spinal cord injury following a fall during the 2019 Grand Prix at the Hampton Classic Horse Show in Bridgehampton, NY, United States. In early September, Kevin underwent a critical surgery to stabilize the vertebrae in his neck. By mid-October of that same year, he had made significant progress, transitioning from relying on a ventilator for breathing to facing the challenge of being paralyzed from the neck down. Remarkably, just two months later, Kevin began teaching from his wheelchair. Today, he remains on a determined journey, actively participating in experimental stem cell therapy, holding onto the hope of regaining movement below the neck.

This life-altering event marked the inception of the Kevin Babington Foundation, which was established in 2019. Kevin Babington Foundation (KBF) has been created to provide funding and support for Equestrian Show Jumping Athletes who sustain spinal injuries. In addition to providing financial assistance the foundation will also strive to educate riders, trainers and show organizers about the most current safety measures designed to reduce the risk of serious injuries which can occur while riding.

Set to Madonna’s iconic “Like a Virgin,” the group’s performance brought the house down, turning the venue into a sea of laughter, applause, and sing-alongs. It was a moment that perfectly captured the spirit of Kevin’s Rockstars: bold, joyful, and powered by a community willing to step outside the arena to support a meaningful cause.

While performers for this year’s event are still being revealed, the memory of last year’s acts — especially Patricia Griffith’ crowd-favorite performance — continues to fuel excitement for what’s to come.

Like A Virgin Lip Sync

A Defining Moment from an Unforgettable Night

Patricia Griffith’ performance quickly became one of the most talked-about highlights of last year’s Kevin’s Rockstars. The energy, creativity, and camaraderie displayed on stage reflected the heart of the equestrian community and its willingness to rally together in support of the Kevin Babington Foundation.

More than entertainment, the performance symbolized what sets Kevin’s Rockstars apart — professional riders embracing vulnerability, humor, and creativity, all in service of a cause greater than themselves.

Moments like these have helped establish Kevin’s Rockstars as more than a fundraiser; it has become a tradition that people mark on their calendars, eager to see who will take the stage next and how they’ll raise the bar once again.

Building Momentum for March 8

Kevin’s Rockstars returns on Saturday, March 8, promising another unforgettable evening of equestrian talent, surprise performances, and a shared commitment to supporting show jumping athletes impacted by spinal cord injuries.

“Last year’s performances set an incredible tone for what Kevin’s Rockstars represents,” said representatives of the Kevin Babington Foundation. “Acts like Patricia Griffiths’ remind us that this event is about heart, courage, and community — and we can’t wait to see what this year brings.”

With each passing year, Kevin’s Rockstars continues to grow in both impact and anticipation, drawing supporters from across the equestrian world and beyond.

Equestrian Performers Invited to Join the Lineup for March 8, 2026

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

As momentum continues to build towards Kevin’s Rockstars and the MIDA Benefit Classic, the Kevin Babington Foundation (KBF) is shining a spotlight on the extraordinary equestrian talent that has become the heartbeat of this one-of-a-kind fundraising event. Set for March 8, 2026, Kevin’s Rockstars is far more than a night of entertainment — it is a celebration of community, courage, and the generosity that defines the sport of show jumping.

What makes Kevin’s Rockstars truly special is the people who take the stage. Riders, trainers, barn teams, and equestrian personalities step outside the ring and into the spotlight — singing live or lip syncing — all in support of athletes facing life-altering spinal cord injuries.

Event: Kevin’s Rockstars
Date: March 8, 2026
Location: Wellington, Florida
Format: Live performances & lip sync acts by the equestrian community & professional talent
Benefiting: Kevin Babington Foundation

The Heart of the Event: Equestrian Talent

From its inception, Kevin’s Rockstars has been powered by the willingness of the equestrian community to show up in a completely different way — trading helmets for microphones and competition jackets for costumes — all to support a cause greater than themselves.

These performances are not about perfection. They are about courage, creativity, and connection. They bring barns together, ignite friendly rivalries, and create unforgettable moments that live far beyond the stage.

Each act represents a powerful statement: this community stands together when it matters most.

A Performer’s Perspective

Those who have taken the stage know firsthand the energy and joy that make Kevin’s Rockstars so special.

“It was honestly one of the most fun nights I’ve ever been part of,” said Javan Dalman, who performed at Kevin’s Rockstars last year lip syncing “She Thinks My Tractors Sexy” by Kenny Chesney. “The crowd, the atmosphere, the laughter — and knowing it was all for such an important cause made it even better. You don’t have to be a professional singer. You just have to show up with heart. I’d encourage anyone thinking about it to jump in and do it.”

Javin

A Night That Changes Lives

While the performances bring the fun, the mission gives the night its meaning. Proceeds from Kevin’s Rockstars directly support the Kevin Babington Foundation’s work providing critical assistance to show jumping athletes and families navigating spinal cord injuries — helping with recovery, rehabilitation, and life after tragedy.

It is a reminder that when this community rallies together, the impact is profound.

Call to Action: Performers Wanted

KBF is currently welcoming additional equestrian performers to join the 2026 lineup. Individuals, barns, teams, and groups are encouraged to sign up — whether performing live or lip syncing.

Space is limited, and several acts are already confirmed. Those interested are encouraged to act quickly to secure a spot on stage.

This is an opportunity to:

  • Represent your barn or team

  • Be part of a night the community talks about all season

  • Support a cause that truly changes lives

If you are intereted in participating please email Michael Cruciotti by clicking HERE.

Kevin’s Rockstars is a night where laughter meets purpose, talent meets heart, and the equestrian community proves — once again — what it means to stand together.

Event Date: February 17th, 2026

Location: MIDA Farm

Class Start Time: 10 AM

Class Specs: Inviting & Fun 1.30m

Awards and Reception Ceremony: 6 PM

With the event already on the calendar and anticipation building across the equestrian community, sign-up forms are now available on the Kevin Babington Foundation website, and KBF invites riders and supporters to join in what has become one of the most meaningful and enjoyable benefit classes of the winter season.

A Tradition Rooted in Community and Care

The MIDA Babington Benefit Classic has grown into a cherished tradition — a class that represents far more than competition. It is a reflection of the equestrian community’s willingness to rally together, transforming sport into tangible support for show jumping athletes facing life-altering spinal cord injuries.

Each year, this event reminds us that when riders enter the ring with purpose, the impact reaches far beyond the jumps.

A Celebration Worthy of the Cause

One of the most anticipated elements of the MIDA Babington Benefit Classic is the awards ceremony and celebration at MIDA Farm, where riders, friends, and supporters gather to enjoy exceptional food, a welcoming atmosphere, and an extraordinary community united by a shared mission.

This post-class celebration has become a hallmark of the event — a joyful moment to recognize achievements, reconnect with friends, and celebrate the collective good made possible through generosity and compassion.

Gratitude for Leadership and Heart

“This event captures everything that makes this community so special,” said Jeff Papows, Chairman of the Kevin Babington Foundation.

“The MIDA Babington Benefit Classic continues to be a powerful example of how sport and service can come together. We are incredibly thankful to Victoria McCullough for her continued support, hospitality, and heart. Her commitment helps create an experience that is both meaningful and unforgettable — all in service of a truly worthy cause.”

Starting 2026 with Purpose

As KBF steps into 2026, the Foundation does so energized by the compassion of its supporters and inspired by the impact made when this community comes together. The MIDA Babington Benefit Classic sets the tone for the year ahead — one defined by connection, generosity, and continued support for riders and families navigating life after spinal cord injury.

Join Us

Riders and supporters are encouraged to complete their sign-up forms now and be part of this special day at MIDA Farm. Together, we continue to prove that when this community shows up with heart, the impact is lasting.

Kevin’s Rockstars 2026 Tickets LIVE!!

The cost of spinal cord recovery has never been higher, and insurance rarely covers the extensive rehab, travel, equipment, and home modifications required for long-term recovery.

That’s where KBF steps in — and why fundraising efforts like Kevin’s Rockstars 2026 are more important than ever.

“The support has been incredible this year,” said Jeff Papows, Chairman of the Foundation. “But as we go into the winter season, when equestrian sport is at its peak, continued fundraising is essential. Your support helps save lives — and we need you.”
