Silver Oak Jumper Tournament Announces 2026 Charity Partners

Supporting Canine Support Teams and the Kevin Babington Foundation

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Wellington, FL – April. 23, 2026

The Silver Oak Jumper Tournament proudly announces its continued commitment to giving back to the equestrian community through its 2026 charitable partnerships, supporting both Canine Support Teams (CST) and the Kevin Babington Foundation.

These two organizations represent the heart of what makes the sport so powerful—community, compassion, and a commitment to improving lives both inside and outside the ring.

Canine Support Teams: Transforming Lives Through Service Dogs

Changing Lives Through Canine Support Teams

At the forefront of this year’s charitable efforts is Canine Support Teams, an organization dedicated to providing highly trained service dogs to veterans and individuals with disabilities—at no cost to those who receive them.

These remarkable dogs are more than companions. They are lifelines—offering support, increased independence, and the ability to navigate everyday life with confidence. Each CST service dog is trained in over 70 specialized commands, empowering their partners to regain a sense of freedom and stability.

Through the support of the equestrian community, there is an opportunity to directly impact lives by helping fund the training and placement of these extraordinary animals.

The Silver Oak Jumper Tournament encourages individuals, businesses, and members of the equestrian industry to consider sponsoring—or partially sponsoring—a service dog. By doing so, you become part of a life-changing journey for someone in need.

Turn One Class Into a Lasting Impact

The Silver Oak Jumper Tournament is also proud to support the Kevin Babington Foundation, continuing its mission to provide critical financial assistance to show jumping athletes who have suffered spinal cord injuries.

Through the Babington Benefit Class initiative, horse shows across the country are invited to dedicate a single class—or a portion of entry fees—to support injured riders while promoting safety within the sport.

About Kevin Babington Foundation:

In late August 2019, Kevin experienced a life-altering moment when he suffered a complete spinal cord injury following a fall during the 2019 Grand Prix at the Hampton Classic Horse Show in Bridgehampton, NY, United States. In early September, Kevin underwent a critical surgery to stabilize the vertebrae in his neck. By mid-October of that same year, he had made significant progress, transitioning from relying on a ventilator for breathing to facing the challenge of being paralyzed from the neck down. Remarkably, just two months later, Kevin began teaching from his wheelchair. Today, he remains on a determined journey, actively participating in experimental stem cell therapy, holding onto the hope of regaining movement below the neck.

This life-altering event marked the inception of the Kevin Babington Foundation, which was established in 2019. Kevin Babington Foundation (KBF) has been created to provide funding and support for Equestrian Show Jumping Athletes who sustain spinal injuries. In addition to providing financial assistance the foundation will also strive to educate riders, trainers and show organizers about the most current safety measures designed to reduce the risk of serious injuries which can occur while riding.

Held on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Eyecandyland Farm, this year’s Kevin’s Rockstars brought together more than 450 guests and featured 14 unforgettable performances—but what unfolded that night went far beyond the stage.

While the evening was supported by influential voices and leaders within the sport, the true impact of Kevin’s Rockstars 2026 was driven by something far greater: the unwavering support of the entire show jumping community. From riders and trainers to owners, grooms, sponsors, and families, this was a night that belonged to everyone—and a mission carried forward by all.

The newly released videos capture not only the energy and emotion of the performances, but the spirit of unity that defined the evening—moments of joy, resilience, and connection that continue to resonate well beyond March 8.

“Kevin’s Rockstars is a reflection of what happens when a community comes together with purpose,” said Jeff Papows, Chairman of the Kevin Babington Foundation. “What we witnessed was not just support for an event, but a collective commitment to stand behind one another. That is what makes this foundation so special.”

At its core, the Kevin Babington Foundation exists to support individuals like Kevin, Jonathan, Kim, David, and Alexa—members of our community who have faced life-changing spinal cord injuries. Their journeys remind us why this work matters, and why this community continues to show up, stand together, and move forward as one.

A highlight of the evening included the presentation of the Babington Spirit Award, honoring Michael Stone, Alan Griffin, and Jimmy Torano—three individuals whose character and contributions embody the heart of the foundation and the values that unite this sport.

The foundation also extends its sincere gratitude to Windstar Cruises for their generous donation of a Spanish Mystery Cruise, and to Mabi Tea for enhancing the guest experience with their thoughtful support. Their partnership reflects the growing network of organizations that believe in the mission and the community behind it.

Kevin’s Rockstars 2026 was not just a night—it was a statement. A reminder that while the challenges faced by members of our community are profound, so too is the strength that surrounds them.

The release of these videos ensures that the message lives on: we stand together, we support one another, and we move forward as one community.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Wellington, FL – March 16, 2026

The Kevin Babington Foundation (KBF) is proud to reflect on an unforgettable evening of music, laughter, generosity, and community following the incredible success of Kevin’s Rockstars 2026, held on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Eyecandyland Farm in Wellington, Florida.

With more than 450 guests in attendance and 14 incredible performances lighting up the stage, this year’s Kevin’s Rockstars was a moving reminder of the strength, compassion, and unity that define the equestrian community and all those who rally behind the mission of the Kevin Babington Foundation.

What began as a special evening of entertainment quickly became something even greater — a heartfelt celebration of resilience, friendship, and the shared belief that when a community comes together, lives can truly be changed.

“Kevin’s Rockstars is a reflection of everything this foundation stands for — courage, compassion, and community,” said Jeff Papows, Chairman of the Kevin Babington Foundation. “To see more than 450 people come together in support of this mission, and to witness the energy and heart behind each of the 14 acts, was incredibly moving. The evening was a beautiful expression of love for Kevin, for this cause, and for the many individuals and families this foundation continues to support.”

A special moment during the evening came with the presentation of the Babington Spirit Award, which recognizes individuals whose character, generosity, and commitment reflect the very heart of the foundation’s mission. This year, the Kevin Babington Foundation was proud to honor Michael Stone, Alan Griffin, and Jimmy Torano — three individuals whose impact on the sport and on the people within it has been deeply felt. Their recognition added an especially meaningful layer to an already emotional and inspiring evening.

Throughout the night, guests were treated to a lineup of memorable performances that brought joy, emotion, and inspiration to the stage. Each act added its own spark to the evening, helping elevate not only the entertainment value of the event, but the spirit of the foundation itself. From the first performance to the final applause, the night was filled with genuine moments that reflected the heart of this extraordinary cause.

At its core, Kevin’s Rockstars continues to be about more than one evening. It is about sustaining the work of the Kevin Babington Foundation, which provides funding and support to show jumping athletes who have suffered spinal cord injuries, helping connect them with financial assistance, access to care, and meaningful pathways forward.

The Kevin Babington Foundation also extends its sincere gratitude to Windstar Cruises, whose generous donation of a Spanish Mystery Cruise brought an exciting and meaningful element to the evening, and to Mabi Tea, whose donation of herbal tea added a thoughtful and refreshing touch to the guest experience. Their support helped make the evening even more special and reflects the growing circle of partners who believe in the mission and impact of the foundation.

Kevin’s Rockstars 2026 was, above all, a testament to the love surrounding this foundation — from the performers who gave their time and talent, to the sponsors who gave so generously, to every guest who showed up in support of something bigger than themselves.

The Kevin Babington Foundation is deeply grateful to every individual, family, donor, sponsor, and volunteer who helped make this evening possible. Together, this community continues to prove that even in the face of life’s greatest challenges, hope can be built through connection, generosity, and unwavering support.
