The Kevin Babington Foundation (KBF) invites the equestrian community to step out of the ring and into the spotlight of celebration with Kevin’s Rockstars, returning on March 8, 2026. This annual lip-sync fundraiser has become one of Wellington’s most beloved traditions — a night where trainers, riders, owners, and friends come together for music, laughter, and a shared purpose for heros like Kevin, Jonathon, Kim, Alexis and David.

With the holiday season upon us, KBF wants ALL riders to “Treat Your Trainer” (and yourselves!) to the biggest party of the year. After months of hard work, long show days, and early-morning training rides, Kevin’s Rockstars is the perfect gift: one unforgettable night out that brings joy while giving back.
On March 8th, equestrians will hit the stage with over-the-top costumes, iconic songs, and spectacular performances — all in support of KBF’s mission.

“Kevin’s Rockstars is more than a fundraiser — it’s a celebration of everything good in our sport,” said Jeff Papows, Chairman of the Kevin Babington Foundation. “It’s a night filled with heart, humor, and community, and it reminds us just how powerful we are when we come together.”
This magical evening is made possible thanks to the incredible performers, barns, and supporters who pour their creativity and spirit into every act. Each performance helps amplify KBF’s mission and brings hope to riders navigating some of the hardest challenges of their lives.

About Kevin Babington Foundation:
In late August 2019, Kevin experienced a life-altering moment when he suffered a complete spinal cord injury following a fall during the 2019 Grand Prix at the Hampton Classic Horse Show in Bridgehampton, NY, United States. In early September, Kevin underwent a critical surgery to stabilize the vertebrae in his neck. By mid-October of that same year, he had made significant progress, transitioning from relying on a ventilator for breathing to facing the challenge of being paralyzed from the neck down. Remarkably, just two months later, Kevin began teaching from his wheelchair. Today, he remains on a determined journey, actively participating in experimental stem cell therapy, holding onto the hope of regaining movement below the neck.
This life-altering event marked the inception of the Kevin Babington Foundation, which was established in 2019. Kevin Babington Foundation (KBF) has been created to provide funding and support for Equestrian Show Jumping Athletes who sustain spinal injuries. In addition to providing financial assistance the foundation will also strive to educate riders, trainers and show organizers about the most current safety measures designed to reduce the risk of serious injuries which can occur while riding.
